I'm not at their training sessions. I don't know what Gregg demands of his players.

I don’t know why it took this long . But I’ll take it.

Then what exactly is your complaint if you don’t know?

Wow we play to through the middle and score a goal....

I thought we were set up nice, and he made the right subs albeit a little late. We were slow, wasteful, and lazy off ball.

Sounds like that’s more on the players.
Balogun has made some bad touches tonight, he just robbed Pepi of a goal with the way he received that pass from Gio

Are you related to Greg or something? We had 0 shots on goal in the first half. Against Trinidad and frickin Tobago. And it’s not just this one game. Greg has his system and tries to put players in it instead of a system that puts who we have in the best positions for them to succeed. Not to mention there’s more that goes into managing than just setting a lineup.

We had 0 shots on goal because Tillman and Paredes Wondo’d.
What should’ve been done differently in the first half?
The XI was the best we had available and we were on the front foot. We just lost our shite in the final third because we had two noob wingers and a team that was sitting its entire country behind the ball.

3-0 score line is fine but I can’t believe the two replacements for Pulisic and Weah played 62 minutes each
They were horrible.
And the substitutes who came in were much better.
Someone needs to ask Gregg this exact question: do you think Pepi and Aaronson are such bums that they didn’t deserve to play sooner, after what Paredes and Tillman showed?
And I’m one of the less anti-Gregg posters on this board. I thought the general gameplan was fine.
The lack of early subbing when the two new starters came in and played poorly is very bad coaching though.

I’ve complained about a lot of things with Gregg, I just think tonight was more about the players lack of execution than it was Gregg putting guys in positions where they can’t succeed

Making inly 2 subs and no changes at halftime was pretty dumb

Sticking Tillman and Paredes for 62 minutes is inexcusable though.
Especially with the depth we have, even minus Pulisic and Weah

To be fair, Aaronson is very much a bum lately

90% of our patterns of play was passing the ball around the horse shoe and crossing it into the middle. Over and over again it was so predictable. Move the ball to the left switch it to the right and let Dest play hero ball. BTW Dest is one of our most inform player at his club.

Which makes sense considering they were clogging the middle and Dest has been really good for club and country lately.
That wasn’t the only thing we were doing though. Go back in the first half and watch how many tomes Gio and McKennie tried to work it in the middle. Didn’t work out too well.

Gio and Jedi's goals came from the middle!

Yeah, my point was that we were trying the middle. You said we weren’t.
