Korea ties it up 1-1. They hit us on a counter, again, and get off a hard shot which Beaudry paries but is finished off by the striker

We are having a hard time breaking down South Korea. They are also passing around our press and did so on their goal.

Our CBs are sitting up absurdly high. However our transition is slow. Korea making it tough to move through the middle.

Beaudry makes a sliding save on a fast break. Damn we are struggling.

It should be 2-1 Korea. We got worked again and Verhoeven gets dribbled badly for a cross across the six, which rebounds out to a Korean player who kicks it right to Beaudry.

Vasquez gets a ball played to him under pressure and fouls a guy, picking up a yellow

Figueroa with a cheap give away leads to another counter with a deflected shot that goes out for a corner

We work it down the left hand side and multiple players almost get a shot off before it goes out to Figueroa in the box and he has a decent shot but too close to the keeper, rebound ends up at his feet again. Second shot deflected by a Korean defender, possibly a nut shot

Playing much better second half. Up 2-1 now from Cruz Medina after a well worked team move leads to a shot from Berchimas that goes to Medina

Much better second half from us. Game ended 3-1. Berchimas involved in every goal. Special player and only 15.

Oh, he also does backflips when he scores sometimes.

Game was so early nobody was watching clearly, but the young Americans took a 2-1 win this morning vs Burkina Faso.

2 Games. 2 Wins. Can't really ask for much better.

Locked up a spot to the knockouts, have to beat France to win the group. They have us beat on goal differential by one.

The problem with our bracket is we likely play either Germany (if we finish second) or Argentina. No chance to play a third placed team.

Also the field is going to be fricking awful in the France game.

Just dropped in to say Mexico fricking blows all the way down to the U-17 level. That's all

So does Canada. They got bent over by Mali this morning, 5-1.

They finished 0-3 in their group with a -9 GD (1-10).

They better hope Davies, Larin and David play into their mid-40's because they are so fricked after this generation.

CONCACAF outside of us (Canada, Mexico, Panama) is 0-5-3 in the tournament with only Mexico still having a match left.

Not much better than their senior team at the WC. But the Canucks will forever have the banner for being top of the table in qualifying in 2022.
