Its embarrassing that a club with the money and history of Liverpool Football Club cant even field a squad where players are utilized in their proper positions.

Agreed. In the year of our Lord 2023, you’ve got to throw cash. This quasi moneyball mentality isn’t going to cut it going forward to compete for the league and top 4 every year.

Spend over 100m to rebuild the midfield and teams are playing straight through our midfield.

I was fine with offloading Fabs, but totally brain dead and messy to not have his replacement locked in before letting him go. Gakpo is awful where he’s being asked to play. Jota has been disappointing as well.

He made it after all but am I the only person who doesn’t like Salah on penalties?

Watch out! Beatbammer will be here soon to fuss you.

This match has been fun and almost a flip from last week where we did nothing after the first 20 mins.

It took us 20 minutes to get going but the play are playing! Luis’s self-flick finish was was great! I still think our best front 3 is Luis, Darwin, Mo.

We do need to hit on some of these free headers!

I just read that Mo now has more goals for Liverpool than Stevie.

No chance that call would ever be made against City. No malice whatsoever.

That said, we get to see Endo and the boys have added one! 3-1!

I know this sounds crazy considering who it is but Webb needs to downgrade that to a Yellow. He actually hits him with the inside of his boot not the straight on studs as they were both going for the ball.

Lots of news coming out that Cheick Doucoure will be wrapped up shortly.

Looks like Wolves performance against United is more of an indictment on United than Wolves actually being good.

Glad we got the points. Another sloppy performance. Hopefully the red gets overturned and Endo can get settled in more allowing Mac/Sbozo to do their thing. Sbozo was great today.

I'd rather win a game like this, down a goal early then down to 10 men, than winning 9-0 like last year. Shows the players there needs to be improvement but they can also battle back and get a win.

Officiating in the PL is just shambolic. It really is. There is no sane world that exists that that was a red card. And if the PL upholds the ruling, Mac is out against Newcastle, correct?

The first 20 minutes of this game were an awful performance, but the performance thereafter was really solid.
