This was not a case of a teenage male deciding he wanted to be a female. This was a divorced mom that raised this male child as a female and never told anyone.
Washington had no idea he was male until the internet uproar. Californias crazy laws allowed the mom to change his gender on official documents.

Well, according to the left, UDub must be run by bigots to take away this dudes female scholarship.
The irony is that with Washington stating that they truly thought that he was a she, then they have documented that he outperform all of the female cheerleaders.
Hank is going to be pissed reading this (and you know that he still lurks).

Would be an interesting case. Legit Title IX violation vs a state law allowing false info on govt documents.
Not sure if WA does the false govt docs thing, if that will matter. If being truthful UW didnt know. Now if it was a school in CA that faced this and took the scholly away that could be different as they need to "respect" the States laws.
In a nut shell, CA needs to be ostracized and let them live in their own filth until they clean up our die off. Just like with their travel bans, they'll realize eventually how stupid they are getting.

Olympics used to do it that way, but they ran into issues because of androgen insensitivity.

Well, this is different than the real person in 'As Nature Made Him'. That boy had his penis and balls removed a week after being born due to a botched circumcision. So, the kid was raised as a girl from birth with no physical evidence of being male.
How did the mom keep this disguise going without surgery on the boy? Someone must have notices in K thru 12.

It's an excellent book. The kid always thought he was a girl but was not interested in girlish behavior so was ostracized by other girls. When he found out the truth in his 20s he determined to murder the doctor who talked his parents into the plan. The Dr. was interested in making ground breaking fame.
He walked into the Dr's office, drew the gun but then walked out and killed himself.

I had questions when I read this. But that was based on a misreading of the above. I was reading “Washington” as the guys last name in this sentence. That changes the whole story. I was very confused. Now I realize the University of Washington had no idea he was male. My brain is working again, I think.

I don't think any of that is really known yet on this UW kid case. Though I'm sure many parents suspected it along the way that their was something frickery going on BUT of course it was allowed to be hidden because the State allows for govt documents to be changed. Which isn't a good thing.
