You did not understand his answer, which was that Trump’s trade barriers were a response to China’s refusal to float exchange. This was giving China an unfair advantage that the trade barriers were going to punish them for.
Austrian Economic theory posits that free trade between countries makes both countries richer, and it’s true. However, when one country is using predatory exchange rate policies, when those policies are causing them to monopolize critical defense production, and when that country is your enemy, it must be stopped. To Donald Trump’s everlasting credit, he saw these things before anyone else in Washington.

Austrian economics are descriptive not prescriptive so this response is off.
That said, he did answer the question which was that Trump dealt with someone that wouldn't allow free trade in a reasonable way

Exactly. China has been using currency valuations against us forever. It has cost the US billions upon billions. Trump evened the playing field.

This. I’ve been on this site since 2007 mostly reading and lurking. I’ve never seen someone so consumed by a politician as RTS is by Trump. Full on obsession, which is odd because the man was in office for 48 months.
And Milei is correct. Socialism is the enemy. Sure spending is OUT OF CONTROL. Roger can take his meaningless vote in Alaska and cast it for whomever he wants. Who gives a frick? This is unhealthy.
