Why shouldn't workers be able to form unions, to negotiate wages, benefits, safety requirements, hours and overall working conditions?

Because the majority of workers voted against it. The Vance Mercedes plant has, based on the internet at least, the highest average compensation of any auto plant in the U.S. Workers correctly voted to deny the UAW from taking a chunk of their pay simply to enrich union leaders and the democratic party.

The union folks won’t give up and the demographics will eventually vote for a union and the clock for shutdown will begin.

This makes not even a wisp of common sense, or fairness. Why shouldn't workers be able to form unions, to negotiate wages, benefits, safety requirements, hours and overall working conditions? What is the state of Alabama thinking nowadays?

They took a vote and the votes for not unionizing were greater that the votes to form a union. I thought you goose steppers were all about democracy?
