But they can send billions upon billions to Ukraine and Israel. I might be better off moving to one of those countries.

Let's see...

Pay student loan forgiveness, hundreds of billions for illegals, hundreds of billions for foreign wars or save Social Security from the DC Uniparty thieves?

That's a tough one.

I have the sensible solution.....the federal thieves can cut me and sweetie a check for $1.5-2 million and we're even.

SS won't end in 2035, benefits will just be reduced according to existing law.

That doesn't really affect the point you are making, but I don't want people to be misinformed.

10 years right before white people will no longer a majority (2045). That's what JObama said.

Not likely they will end it because that is millions of votes.

What are you going to do when they seize 401k's and IRA's and savings accounts. If you don't think they have plans to do this you are fooling yourself. Why do you think they are pushing so hard for digital currency? Once they abolish cash they will the public by the short hairs.

SS is virtually the ONLY government program operating in surplus in 2024. That fact will hold true for roughly the next ten years.

In 2035 ... guess WTF happens ....

In 2035 SS begins running at a deficit for the first time in history. In 2035 SS begins running a 20% deficit, projected for the next 100yrs. At the same time our general budget deficits run about 30%.

Joyless Reid called Bryan Donaldson a liar when he was explaining to her why social security was at risk.

I will be 70 in 2039..that is.full retirement age for my birth year.

I fully expect to lose 20% of what I am supposedly going to earn..

I expect that because that is what my statement says when I get it every year.

SS is running a deficit right now. The trust fund will be depleted in 2035.

Let it end, those on it now have taken out more than they ever paid in and those paying in right now won't see a cent.

Another reason is this is a dog whistle to bring out voters each election, nothing will be done, it's like the border to the sheep.

Same. I’ve been paying in for 30 years with the assumption I will get zero in return. The faster it blows up the sooner I stop being robbed
