They demand Sacramento State divest from companies doing business with Israe., yet the student infatada folks would gladly accept money from Soros to help further their tent cities, buy food etc. Doesn't matter that Soros is Jewish..

How easily the lefts morals and ideals can be easily bought.

It's about investments, not doing business with.

Students say they were told the university held no direct investments, but will be dumping $4.5 million in indirect investments.

What is an "indirect investment"?

A direct investment in a pooled vehicle such as a mutual fund or private equity fund that in turn invests in one of the restricted investments.

We're still back to the compliance issue then. Mutual funds are always changing their investments. There's no way that they're going to hire people to keep up with all of it.

Their policies and procedures would probably be to only invest in any such fund that abides by a similar restriction. For private equity funds, investor will often negotiate an excuse right for restricted investments.

Oh boy, that'll hurt.
I love how people think they, and the Palestinians, are going to win a money fight with Israel and worldwide Jewry.

This is like Greta Thurnberg deciding the best way to deal with Conor McGregor is in a fistfight.

The university says it will no longer invest in companies that "profit from genocide, ethnic cleansing, and activities that violate fundamental human rights."
I certainly look forward to the massive iPhone burning in the quad.
