People driving alone in car with masks on

I'm still seeing people with masks driving alone, and I am having a hard time understanding this? Just saw a lady in her car with one of those masks up to her eyeballs, it was possibly impairing her driving. What is the explanation for this phenomenon?

A different board a guy told it to me when I pointed out people wearing masks alone in a car:
Sometimes when you're doing deliveries and don't want to take the mask off it just saves time.

A woman got mad at me this week because I said it was stupid the bartender was wearing a mask. I’m married so luckily I have experience dealing with angry women but the other person with us is very liberal and actually defended my opinion so maybe there’s hope.
