I'm generally skeptical of taking any version of a story when all you hear is one side, but this has the ring of truth IMO

Explanation needs to be made by Jet Blue. Could be as simple as them overbooking the flight or him missing some cutoff not to be bumped by a stand by.

Expected it not to have the ring of truth, but I think you're right.
Especially in this era where there are thousands of stories of some pissed off attendant dramatizing or fabricating an interaction and getting the benefit of the doubt even with lots of fellow passengers contesting the airline's story.

JetBlue allowing employees to take any political sides is absolutely ridiculous.
No properly run business that has a pulse on anything allows it.
Crazy, and if I'm a Board member or major stockholder I'm holding someone accountable if the stock takes a hit.

They aren't kicking a Mosaic member due to overbooking.
It may have happened the way he said (there are some pretentious-assed flight attendants who enjoy "putting passengers in their place"), it could be the way the FA described it (passengers have been known to embellish) or it could be somewhere in-between.

Once you are engaged with an attendant on direction of the pilot you don't simply........walk away - because you don't like what they are telling you. Even if you think they are wrong or confused. You are legally required to show ID when asked. It isn't optional. You are asking to be arrested. Anyone that demonstrates that level or lack of self control is suspect. Now I absolutely believe you were causing a disturbance even though a flight attendant has no business wearing something like that. I do not believe for a second that someone who chooses to comport themselves in that manner is as innocent as they claim.
