And the whites taught them to read and write. They only made one bad trade on culture. The Indians introduced whites to tobacco. The whites introduced them to alcohol.

No. Too many cultures and backgrounds with different ideologies lead to chaos and violence as each group fights for power. It’s impossible to get so many different people to buy into one culture and system.
