Is the IRS racist?

I mean just how much do you think most of these people are getting back in refunds to make sitting around all day at an IRS office worth it? I pay a persons salary in taxes and I barely get a couple hundred dollars back if I’m lucky. No way I’m spending an entire day at the irs

I'm sure you know this already, but there is a whole industry built around these people and their EITC refunds. From Shanequa's Tax Service in the local lounge to Leroy's Used Car lot and Furniture rental. Not to mention, they are going to ball this weekend

it's crazy what these tax returns look like also. I do community lending as part of my job as a mortgage originator. A few times a year i have to turn down clients because of "farm income" or some other made up deduction people claim that lowers their income and they can't qualify anymore. Also if child tax credits didn't exist 80% wouldn't be getting refunds.

IDK if it's racism but my accountant said when he has to call an IRS agent about their mistakes they don't seem to understand basic arithmetic.

Can you imagine how earned income tax credits are going to explode now that millions upon millions of illegals have social security numbers now?????????
I read an article about the scam. Illegals get a fake SS# for work purposes, the employer knows its not theirs but they dont care. Then someone approaches the chicken factory and says ill give each person a 100 bucks if they sign this tax return and give me that social security number, just stop by my office in a six weeks. They fill out the form, claim the earned income tax credit and keep the return and give the illegal 100 bucks.
The IRS finally started looking into some cases when they were getting 25 checks sent to the same address in.....Mexico. The IRS says its 25% fraud so more like 75%.
You know your boy Marco Rubio, never misses a chance to add more parameters to the program to get more enrolled. Im sure he will be back on it this term with another million haitians arriving.

You're looking at it wrong. If you only get back a couple hundred bucks after paying that much then you were wise enough not to overpay and give Uncle Sam an interest free loan until such time as he decided to return the excess funds. If your return is small, you're doing it right! (Even better if you owe them a couple hundred on the 15th, 'cause you made the f*ckers wait for it!)

You can ask the IRS for how to handle something, do what they tell you, then still get hit with penalties and interest because they fricked up and you listened to them.
It is the ultimate in “moving the goalposts”.
