Iran: odds of Leader's helicopter (1 of 3) crash landing

Three helicopters flying home from Azerbaijan flying into heavy fog and the one carrying the two very VIPs is the one to go down. First reported as a hard landing, now reported as a crash, the first searches for it were done by drones.
Surely it wasn't the lead . Modi of Intia was among the first to send good wishes. Followed by the head of Azerbaijan. Al Jazeera has a no nonsense report about what happens next if they are dead.
Not mentioned anywhere is the possibility that that particular helicopter with the two very important people wasn't just an accident. One of three and probably not the lead aircraft. The other two made it to Tabriz safely.

Dont fricking care. The president of Iran is a figurehead who only does what the supreme leader says.. this has no meaning or bearing on anything aside from another mooselimb gone.

If one is going to crash, then the odds of it being that particular one is one in three obviously. But if you want to know what the odds of that helicopter crashing on that trip, then nobody knows. It would depend on the way it was maintained, the operating procedures followed and the pilot skill level.

2 got lucky. Even if the other 2 knew they lost comms or went down, they were probably low on fuel and told to not deviate or intervene.
Being bad weather, terrain, and iranian aircraft, I see it for what it is and its a mishap, not a conspiracy.
