In His Beloved Philadelphia, Biden Faces Wariness From Black Voters

In interviews with nearly two dozen voters in predominantly Black neighborhoods in Philadelphia this week, as well as with elected officials and strategists, signs of softness in Mr. Biden’s standing were palpable.
Just eight voters said they were committed to voting for Mr. Biden, while many others were debating staying home, or, in a few cases, supporting former President Donald J. Trump. They cited concerns about immigration, the cost of living and their sense that Mr. Biden was more focused on crises abroad than on fixing problems in their neighborhoods. And despite Mr. Biden’s robust policy accomplishments, some were unfamiliar with his record.
“I don’t care about what goes on overseas,” said Latasha Humphrey, 36, an infrequent voter who is considering supporting Mr. Trump, if she votes at all. “I care about where I live.”
Democrats have long banked on strong showings in Philadelphia — and more recently, its suburbs — to offset weakness in more conservative parts of this closely divided state. Their concern is not that the city’s Black voters will gravitate en masse toward Mr. Trump, but that too many of them, apathetic about their choices, might simply stay home.

Wow, the detachment from reality here.

Notice they didn’t list any of those “accomplishments”.

The only “accomplishments” Biden has are spending trillions of dollars the country doesn’t have to fund the green new deal and other DEI initiatives.

Many black men are against biden and his open border policy.
Low skilled labor wages go down, and many illegal immigrants take those jobs.
Also all the free stuff goes to immigrants now instead of them which also annoys them.
And many Hispanic Americans don't like the open border policy.
So biden is losing on both ends.

Don't worry Latasha, your fellow Philadelphians running the polls will vote on your behalf several times.

They probably hope there is a slew of them like this they can harvest.

I bet I don’t have much in common with Latasha but she’s dead on here.

So they'll vote for Biden without knowing they did.

fricking Pathetic!!
You’re not giving US enough shiny things that spin and baubles & beads, so we’re going take our basketball and go home?
Joe Biden and his 1994 crime bill mass incarcerated more black men for marijuana offenses than any piece of legislation in this country’s history. Yet, with that brick to the face they came out in droves to supposedly elect this soiled old Democrat.
frick them, wash your hands of them, they are lost in the wilderness and not worth saving.

I get what he was saying to the extent that we hear this "black revolt" business from the Dems every election cycle but then they dutifully vote for the Dems north of 90% like clockwork. Count me jaded on this as well...

She will vote whether she knows it or not. They will not let an unused ballot get wasted in Philadelphia.
