I wouldn't do anything to cause Biden not to be the Democrat nominee in November. If an impeachment risks making him unable to run, don't do it. (May not...I don't know the rules.)

Somehow yes. Out of all the pretended impeachable offenses, there are in fact people moronic enough to believe that a policy disagreement is an impeachment offense.

What a great misdirection from doing anything to better this country. Now the democrats are acting serious about the border, and they will get conveniently stifled with impeachment. The Ds will be able to say “we tried to fix the border but the republicans wanted to play party politics”… and the show goes on.

It theoretically could, as disqualification is a possible result of impeachment.
But in this instance, it’s unlikely an impeachment vote even passes the House, and there’s zero chance of conviction in the Senate. Hell, the senate may just dismiss the case immediately as they did with Mayorkas.

There won't be nearly enough support for it. I think the GOP in the House may be more invested in Biden's staying in office until November because thus far he's been the absolute best reason for people to not vote Dem on Election Day.
It's not like the majority of the GOP in Congress has given people reasons to vote FOR them in droves.
