Rispone beat Abraham.....like I predicted he would. How he got there is irrelevant. Isn’t that how predictions work?

Whether or not Abraham people can do what is in the best interest of Louisiana remains to be seen. I’m cautiously optimistic they will, but N LA has a habit of fricking the state on the grounds of religious sensibilities.

You obviously crave approval. This is probably the 10th time you patted yourself on the back for guessing right about who was going to be the runner up after Edwards.

Who the frick cares?!?

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, who has accomplished anything significant in their life is impressed by that.

You cared enough to count my posts and respond to my comment. Looks like you care. But this is like the 3rd or 4th time you've cried over one of my posts in the last 2 days.

Actually it’s not.

When you make a prediction, you make it with info currently on hand. Unless you have some seeing into the future super power that enabled you to see Rispone’s gamble of going negative working out, it was a bad prediction with the info you had on hand.

It’s like betting on South Carolina to beat Georgia this past weekend. Not a good bet but worked out in the end.

Outiside of it’s usual role as window dressing, religion has had no impact on this race. All 3 candidates are bible thumpers.

Besides, South Louisiana is the one that hasn’t been sending their best to the Governor’s mansion for 30 years now.

I wonder how long until North LA secedes. They don't hold any voting power in this state. That's a major reason why the South seceded after none of the states voted for Lincoln and it didn't mean jack.

I didn’t count your posts, loser. It’s just that you’ve beat your chest in almost every Rispone thread you’ve posted in since the election results were final. Frankly, you’re embarrassing yourself more than you’ll ever know but you’re too stupid to realize it.

Religion has not really played a role here, thus far (and hopefully won’t), but there’s a long history of animus politically between north Louisiana Protestants and south Louisiana Catholics (who nobody ever really looks at or considers “Bible thumpers”). And the two groups still don’t really see each other as similar.

Which is why it's time to start the healing like I said last night, with Rispone and Abraham people working together to defeat JBE and GumboPAC. If Rispone fails, Abraham is capable of running again in 2023 and has more name recognition now. Could maybe primary Bill Cassidy for Senate now. Unlike Kennedy, no one outside political nerds knows who tf he is, proof of how ineffective he is.

Wait....so does that mean he lied during his attack ad? I’m so confused

Ive been saying this is gonna the biggest problem Rispone is gonna face. He’s viewed as completely dishonest by Abraham voters. Rispone making fawning statements about him now is probably not the best route to remedy that, in fact- it will likely just reaffirm their beliefs.

It’s akin to the way Democrats did John McCain IMO- he was a racist monster and hated poors when he ran against Obama, but suddenly became a “beloved man of integrity” when he voted with Dems on Obamacare and wanted to oust Trump. And spoke of him as if he was the MLK of political figures when he died. Just Slimey tactics...

Doesn’t look like a bad prediction at all to me. It was the right prediction even before Rispone went negative as you say. Like it or not, people weren’t confident about Abraham and it showed.

They don’t have a choice but to bible thump in N LA if they want the governorship.

Rissone and his family are good people.

Hope he can finish the job and unseat JBE.

Who’d a thought he would go from a useless “ career politician” to a “good man” in less than 24 hours?

Perhaps a little unfortunate for some of us anti-SGers that the next governor happens to live in SG.

Dude, you are dressing up hindsight as expert knowledge. It’s the same thing gamblers do when they make a lucky pick with no risk and it works out for them. The fundamentals of the race were not what you say they were before Rispone went negative.
