There it is. Trump funded the very ballot harvesting scheme Democrats used to steal the last election. Just as he handed the country and his balls to Fauci-Birx, he also handed the Democrats a weapon loaded with 400 million bullets. You can’t make this stuff up.

Trump has a tendency to set his own landmines, which can be frustrating
at times.

Not sure exactly how these funds are appropriated. But Republicans in general, have a long history of funding the very things they claim to be fighting against, over and over. So it's not just Trump, but still worth noting how Trump tried to throw Massie out for not supporting this completely bloated monstrosity (CARES act)

The 2020 election was absolutely stolen from Trump and the American people. But did Trump do enough to stop it?

So no comments from Trump folk. They continue to ignore the fine print.

Whatever the reason, it was fricked up and needs to be fixed. Blame whomever you want. I don’t care. Fix it.

Taglines may fill rallies but they don’t govern.

Trump sucks at governing

You don’t fix it by voting for the person who stood by and watched it happen and let his agencies facilitate it.

I don't think that was important to him.

I think it really comes down to some people just didn’t realize how dirty the game really was.

I never thought our government was so corrupt until Trump won. The establishment took everything to new levels never thought imaginable to undermine his Presidency. Honestly most of the things that have happened I would have only thought could be exaggerated fiction for a TV show or movie.

I’m surprised so many people were unaware of how corrupt DC was. I think Trump’s made it riskless to be more open about it, but permanent Washington has a long history of corruption and misdeeds. I mean, a presidential election was likely stolen 60 years ago, the winning president was likely assassinated by his own CIA 3 years later, and 6-7 years after that the government shot up a demonstration on a college campus over a BS war. A few years later a president was shitcanned in disgrace, followed by an oil shock and inflation and interest rates that make today’s look like good times, as much as we’re led to believe it, we aren’t living in unprecedented difficult times.

I don’t know if it’s a generational thing or maybe social media, but we seem to think everything that happens to us now is remarkable in a historical perspective.

Think of this - blacks today are convinced they don’t have the same freedoms whites have, that they’re oppressed, suffer under a white supremacy and oh by the way, are hunted by cops. We know that’s crazy, but blacks have a whole industry, a monolithic media, and about 70% of government and politicians telling them what to believe all that BS.

What are the chances blacks (and climate freaks) are the only ones being convinced of a bullshite narrative to benefit the narrative’s framers?

Because we as a society view the past with rose colored glasses.

I also don’t buy that Trump didn’t understand the depths of D.C.’s scum, no one at his age and in his position is that naive.

So what you're suggesting is that it isn't the person pulling the trigger, it really is the gun that kills people.

The difference is they are so open and don’t care that people know about the corruption. It is in your face at this point.

I get there has always been corruption, but you atleast had to somewhat cover your tracks before. You could not risk being exposed. Now they just do it out in the open and laugh about it.

All feelings aside. Did the CARES Act provide funding to states to facilitate ballot harvesting, mail in voting, etc. or not?

It's an honest question we need to ask. Because this is a pattern with Republicans in general, and probably my biggest frustration, and why I can hardly take anything they say serious at all.

They all talk a huge game, but then when there is actually an opportunity to defund or take away something we don't like, they all line up and fund it every single time.

Not exactly. But it wouldn't be a great idea to buy your killer a gun beforehand

I bring zero emotions to politics. I will always vote and support the canidate I feel has the best chance to provide the best policy outcomes in my family and community's favor. It is impossible for a politician to "break" me as you say.

You on the other hand, sound like someone who isnpure emotion driven, and have become emotionally attached to a certain canidate to the point nothing about them can ever be critiqued.

I do not and can never operate that way. That is why you will see me make both positive and negative posts about Trump when warranted, and at the end of the day I will make a rational decision with my vote in both the primary and the general elections.

Trump expanded government/give it more power/money and it wound up harming conservatives. This happens more then you think.

Exactly. There is a meme that comes to mind where the guy shoots someone, and then says "why would so and so do this"... I can't really take alot of what Trump says serious, because he fundamentally does not understand the root cause to the things he rails against and doesn't seem willing to fight these battles where they really need to be fought.
