Not a Bill fan but he is calling out these nut jobs… He does take a shot at Trump in the end, even though Trump didn’t create these nut jobs and the left did.

He finally had the chance to say it on TV now that it’s not about BLM.

Maher has total TDS and is completely out of touch with normal people, however, outside of that, he’s been pretty dead on 95% of the time the last few years. I agree with almost everything he says on LGBTQ (making fun of families who brag about having “2 trans kids”), universities and DEI, cultural Marxism, everyone gets a trophy… etc.
I think at this point he’s gotta be all in on his TDS because he spent so much time bashing the guy.
But he DID say once, “I’m not voting for Trump, but I get it” when they were talking about men in women’s sports. He explained to the panel that people have had enough of woke politics.

I’m really looking forward to what’s left for the next movement. Over the last seventy years there’s been a significant shift from rioting for a cause to looking for a reason to cause a riot. In some twisted way connecting a cause is viewed as earning their activist badge to gain cred in the eyes of future generations.

Leftist is way too simplistic when you’re talking about old-school liberals who stand for traditionally liberal values. He’s a liberal. Not a leftist by today’s standards. He hates the woke left and the leftists that dominate the narrative. He’s even flat out said several things where he agrees with Trump, and I think deep down he might prefer Trump to Biden, but he has to stick to his guns.
