Biden just did a 180 regarding protests

So Biden came out today and said if you protest on campus and damage property, block buildings, etc. then you’ve commited a criminal act and you will be prosecuted accordingly…
Wait a minute, what did the BLM movement do in 2020??? They took over city streets, burned businesses, damaged property, hurt people & stole things.
How come nobody calls out this double standard?

seems weird to compare the response to something that happened when he wasn't in office, or do you just need something to complain about?

I understand your confusion, you see back then we operated under the guise of being a republic, with a constitution and such. So we believed states and cities had jurisdiction over their affairs. Things are different now.

The way I see it there are 3 possible reasons for the double standard:
1. Jewish influence in media and academia
2. Flash polling shows the protests hurting Dems
3. The powers that be see that they handled the BLM riots poorly and are trying to do better. Learning from your mistakes can often look like hypocrisy but you shouldn't doom yourself to forever repeat the same mistakes in the name of consistency. (Unlikely, but possible.)
So I'm guessing a combination of 1&2.
