I know that the US presidential election is the most important election on Earth every 4 years, but I think we need to make pushing these Dems out of our local elections just as important.

We need republican sheriff's, school board superintendents, mayor's, judges etc. The president doesn't have as much power as most think he does.

What kept the dems agenda from being fully realized is the fact that the Republicans had a majority in the Supreme Court. We need more of this.

It is important to have a republican president win the election because it sends a message to both parties about what the population is thinking and that does influence policy. Of course he has veto power and that's important.

We need fewer Fanni Willis' in decision making positions.

Yes. Just as important as federal elections but the local stuff is an afterthought to way too many people on the right.

Doesn't matter here. Leftist Secretary of State will just change our vote prior to counting it.

Yes but people vote for the status quo. That's how you get Landry. Just because he has an R next to his name doesn't mean a damn thing

Absolutely. Local councils and commissions, DAs, and state legislators (among others) are incredibly important.

The key to our country is not getting Trump elected as many of you think. It is at home.

Sorry for the late response, but this is my point. We need a grass roots movement in our local elections. I don't know how best to accomplish this.

Yes. Local elections impact everyone’s daily life much more than national ones.

Get Siris Radio and listen everyday. Each host has an interview with candidates during the week. They are holding their feet to the fire ....

Just because Mian Stream radio doesn't care .....People on the front lines are busy working ....

Not where I live. We've had a conservative Sheriff for as long as I can remember, DeSantis just gave us a rock solid school superintendent retired 2 star (incumbent stepped down so gov appoints), Supervisor of Elections is retired from DEVGRU. It's not 100% solid at every level but the big ones are largely quality people.

Not here. Republican supermajority in the State legislature, Republican majority administration, no gender this and gender that garbage in local schools, sheriff that arrests criminals and local prosecutor that prosecutes them.

Running pretty smooth here.
