And as you know. I believe all sorts of nutty, crazy conspiracies.

The new one.

The US military is releasing chaff above our heads ... tons and tons each year. This is resulting in aluminum particles being suspended into the air.

Aluminum is not good and among other things, has been linked to alzheimer's disease.

Someone please debunk this. I have been sort of short of breath and a little confused since watching this video.

This isn't even a theory- the government is and has been for many years- maybe decades- releasing aluminum particulates into the atmosphere under vague weather and climate reasonings

It's absolutely true. I have a friend who brought me a chaff disgronificator and the reading showed an aluminum parts per million that astounded me.To imagine all that aluminum suspended there in the air is really scary. It causes impotence too and mimics soy poisoning in males under 30. I'd urge everybody to be the Repeli 4500YT disgronificator and start monitoring it before your children begin to grow gills..

So what is the justification for this? Climate change?

I'm not going to. I haven't even researched it, but conspiracy theorists are, I think, undefeated at this point. I'm going to say it's possible, if not likely.

Did the military chaff the East Coast?

Yes, the military did release chaff, a radar-jamming material, over the East Coast during a training exercise. This caused confusion and concern among residents and air traffic controllers

They don't need to do that.

They just put it in your deodorant.

Chaff is used to reflect radar to give a target for a missile that is not the plane releasing the chaff. To reflect the radar signal, each piece of chaff needs to be longer than a quarter wavelength of the radar signal frequency. The highest frequency radars today operate as high as 12 THz, with a wavelength of about an inch. If it falls on you, you would brush it off, and the only way to get it into a lung would be to snort hard while shoving it down your throat with a wooden dowel. Don't worry.

The question is why this is so.*

Without re-hashing a previous thread in its entirety, I believe it's a difference in philosophy.

For example, I don't default to believing a conspiracy theory and have to have it debunked before I stop believing it. Belief is not my default setting.

I remain skeptical until/unless compelling evidence is offered. Especially if it defies common sense or seems unlikely to start with.

But that makes sense considering that my baseline philosophy isn't defined by being a perpetual victim of government elites. I don't need to believe in conspiracy theories for my operating system to work. Some of y'all (and "some" is being kind) absolutely do.

*Before someone says that the "why" is because "there have been so many conspiracy theories that have been proven true," I've had that discussion before. What ends up getting offered to support it includes examples that aren't conspiracy theories at all, it includes examples that have not been proven true by any reputable or official sources (the people mistake their own personal certainty for offers of objective compelling evidence...the moon landing being fake is a great example of this...and/or take the word of some anonymous blogger or YouTuber as proof), and it excludes all of the theories that they forget about that have come and gone without evidence.

What we end up with is 2-3 legitimate conspiracy theories that have been "proven" to be true out of maybe a couple of dozen. Which is about right in the context of American history.

Amazon already sold out. I know.....Amazon. I was checking for a friend from the Bronx who doesn't know what a computer is.

I think Bill Gates himself is a proponent of this if it is not already happening on a larger scale than just seed clouding.
