I saw more ducks in North East Arkansas this weekend than I have in a very long time. With nothing but speck decoys out we could have had a 7 man limit by 7ish if duck were open.

Better than Venice. Brought son to camp for youth weekend, they haven’t showed up yet, and the ones there are all scattered ( no feed). Go that feeling opening weekend is going to be a let down for many down there. Perfect fishing weather and conditions.

We were down at camp Friday-Sunday. Heard some shooting from the yutes, but not a bunch. Was in the Sawdust and East Bay areas both days and not a lot of ducks around. Saw some groups in the 75-80 duck range get up in a few places, but no big groups. Fished around Baptiste Collette Sunday early and saw some bigger groups up there. Looks like downriver will be thin again this year.
