I have a 5 year old black lab I would like to get a puppy off of. He is a strong duck dog and also blood trailing dog. He is block headed and about 105 lbs. Very good and gentile with kids. Hard working when it’s time to hunt. No stud fee but would like pick of the litter. I don’t know how to post pics. Text me at 225-937-4829 if interested. I can send pics/videos that way.

Baw please don’t do this, do you have health certs? Eyes, elbows, eic?
You’re asking for a moon shot deal with zero return. Enjoy your dog and cherish the memories.

I fight through this myself. My dog is 12 and the best dog I’ve ever had. My wife keeps telling me that even if we get the same breed it probably won’t be the same dog.
It’s hard to know the goodbye is coming soon to a really good dog. I’ll cry like a baby when he leaves us.

105lbs? Good god ran first derby in 1981 - not a dog over 85lbs

Most don’t realize how big an 80# bag of muscle and bone is. Anything over that # is way outside the breed standard.

my first lab was about 100 lbs. Good dog but a pain in the arse to travel with or have in the boat. That tail was a weapon. Current lab is 48 lbs and is faster, more agile, more endurance, can fit in my backpack, and doesn't take up the whole back seat or half of the pirogue. I have a soft spot for the big ole block heads, though.

Angolas eight second ride “Tuff” was the biggest I ever put my hands on and he was about 81#. Fluid and graceful movement, retired needing a win for FC.
