In SWMS I believe the move there is to cut the distance as much as possible after you hear the first gobble. Then yelp.

Learned this year, me.

Same here. He must be a good luck charm though. Limited out in MS and killed one in LA as well.

He was a great luck charm en-utero last season for me

Had to work for my deer and turkey this season

Yeah the first hunting season with an infant hit here too.

Just wait until the infant starts playing tball/coach pitch in the spring. I was pleasantly surprised how much I got to hunt when my boys were born and little for the first few years. The last two years I've been coaching both in coach pitch and tball...very few Saturday hunts.

Got one two weeks ago. I also had one at my 3:00 at 20 steps that I couldn't swing to get a shot either without him or his hens seeing me. Had another one within 100 yards Sunday but couldn't get him to step out into the road and come closer; I think I called too much.

Didnt get one this year but had some good stories.

My dad and I were set up about 10 yards apart. Had one hammering all morning. changed up my calling and started coming in on a rope. At 60 yards or so out a hen walks between me and my dad headed to him. They walk off together, gobbler cutting loose the whole time.

Turkey hunting man.

Next time that happens try and spook her back to where she came from to keep her from walking to him.
