And, if the will of the people is so strongly against something in the constitution, there's an apparatus within the constitution to amend it! It has been done many times in our history! There isn't the political will in this country to mess with the second amendment or they would have done it by now. It's just hissing from a pissed off snake with no venom.

But prior to that 2 second discussion, they'd all answer that poll in a negative manner towards constitutional carry.
They feel the same way, they just stop arguing with you so you'll drop it and move on.

The reason anyone says they should require a permit is because the unconstitutional permits were a thing for the past 20-30 yrs. Theyve become accustomed to govt limiting constitutional rights over their lives that when they are given back freedoms they always had they clamor for more govt. Its sickening

I don’t know if it’s really constitutional to make people have a permit to carry a weapon, but I would encourage people wanting a pistol for self defense, to take some safety courses. Lots of people get pistols for self defense, but have never really been around guns prior. Pistols are more difficult to shoot I think.
