Judges rule based on the size of the bribe.
Does that clear it up for you?

3 billion $, and by 20fkn70, 52 years, yeah that right 52 years, we’ll see an area restored approx 12x8 miles. For reference NOLA Iis approx 19x13 square miles. That means in 52 year, we hope to create a marshland about 40% the size of NOLA, and only one the SW side of NOLA and west of the Mississippi River,,,,this will do nothing SE, and E of NOLA,,,,,IMO this a gigantic waste of money that will take too long to make to little of a difference.

Know what sea turtles need? Land to nest on. Oystermen can suck an infinite bag of dicks.

That’s the confusing part to me. How do an handful of oyster fishermen worried about having to run an extra 15 minutes to their lease have deeper pockets than the soybean/corn farmers and every petrochemical producer along the river that would see lower shipping costs as the need for dredging is reduced?

Because they are a small group of families from shell beach to buras that control pricing & market from harvest to retail, put politicians in office since the 80’s, cash in on every disaster especially BP, and are always suing. I pretty sure the state helps them financially with building oyster reefs.

La Restaurant Association is the strongest lobby in the state and the two are joined at the hip. Al Sunsier(sp?) is an oyster man in N.O. and a commission member. Dealt with him when we fought the Cal oyster dredges, we agreed to disagreed.
