Sure wish we had a vehicle board. But I know there are too many boards already. I have a JK that I change oil in driveway. Looking to speed it up and keep it cleaner. TYFYT for your troubles.

Mine takes about 20 minutes to change. How much time are you looking to save?

Hell, if that's my assistant, I'm stalling as much as possible.

Fumoto is probably the most popular.

That's what I used on my TJ.

I was in a hurry and went to Walmart to do an oil change. They wouldn't do it because of the non-standard plug.

i had one on my last truck for about 5 years. Was really worth it to me because the regular drain plug was the worst i have ever had on a vehicle. Almost as soon as you cracked it, it would start leaking oil all over your wrench and hand. Fumoto was real simple and clean. No mess.

I put on Fumoto 90* on my F250, not because I was looking to speed up the process, but because Ford put the oil plug facing the rear of the truck so it was always a guessing game of where the stream of oil would land and hoping you had your bucket in the right spot, then have to move it forward as the stream slowed. The Fumoto is actually much slower but atleast there's no mess.

I have more problems taking off the filter. It's always a mess.

Loosen it up then remove with a large solo cup. Haven't tried it but seen it in a video.

I get a gallon zip lock bag (the ones with a slider) and wrap it around the filter and zip it as close to the engine as possible. It’s not perfect, but it catches most of it.

Most filters are set to allow you to just barely break the seal and the oil will come out controlled. After that stops, you slowly twist off and should not have much oil remaining except what is in the filter.

I’ve used a Fumoto for several years now on my vehicle and my wife’s. Highly recommend.

i thought about putting a fumoto valve, but saw a couple reviews that it leaves more more oil in the bottom of the pan than the plug.
