Of course a bear. A bear wouldn’t tell you all day every day how much you suck because you wouldn’t talk about their feelings for 17 hours a day. A bear would also appreciate your ability to build a fire , find drinking water and provide shelter. And of course you wouldn’t have to give a bear half your provisions for the rest of your life if it decided to go down another trail . Plus Bears are more likely to let you know they are a bit sorry before eating you.
