Why is Business Report so woke?

Does Rolfe not seriously understand what's going on in this state? Or is he just a limousine liberal virtue signaler?
Louisiana is DEAD LAST in literally every quality of life category in the country. Landry needs to clean house, take control, and reset things. Hoping the clowns in charge can self-correct is a fallacy.
It's hard to take anything this publication prints very seriously..

The political and financial power brokers in BR are 100% out of touch with reality. They obviously live a life in a parallel universe bubble from the rest of the society at large. They are also mentally superior in their own opinions.

It sold and has gone south. The entire staff is younger, woke and completely out of touch with their readership. They reposted some AP opinion piece by Janet Yellen recently, where she basically blames the economy on Jan 6 and Trump. Just awful and lazy.
It’s just another anti-conservative publication and I doubt I’ll ever pay them a dime again.
It’s asinine that a red state has zero conservative, main-stream news outlets anymore.

1- Rolfe isn’t necessarily “woke”. Remember, Rolfe was a HUGE Bobby Jindal guy. I think he even was on his team and used the BR Business Report as a mouthpiece for Jindal’s administration and campaign. Camp Jindal and Camp Vitter (whom Landry was part of most times) HATED each other. So Rolfe isn’t going to promote Landry unless he does something overwhelmingly awesome.
2- Above said…Landry’s Administration is trying to push through bills giving the Governor’s office MORE power and control. That’s the last thing Louisiana needs, more centralized power on the 4th Floor. Those of you saying that Landry “needs more control so he can clean house”, you still going to be good with that if another JBE is elected after Landry’s tenure?

Landry wasn’t the only conservative on the ballot. Unfortunately, way too many people in Louisiana did what you did, out of fear of a repeat of 2015. However, that was NEVER going to be the ultimate outcome with Shawn Wilson being the Democrat in the runoff.

Rolfe’s opinion of himself is extremely exaggerated. HE is one of the main reasons SWB is where she is today
