When will Aldi come to Northeast Louisiana?

The Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston market area could surely support at least three stores.

Aldi is a 3rd world shite hole, but if it's what y'all want...

Do you have Winn Dixie up that way, they are changing over some of them?

Yep, it's happening with 1 near me.
They haven't changed the name yet though, and it still seems exactly the same.

We did several years ago but they all closed down, and Albertsons did as well. Basically now just have Super 1, Brookshires, Macs Fresh Market, and Walmart to serve the area.

The Monroe Garden district yoga pants contingent could support one all by themselves. But I hear they're holding out for a Whole Foods.

I’ve tried Aldi twice. Not impressed in the least.

I would LOL if they went the south park route on this.

Same here.
Walgreen sized Save A Lot with some better in house brands and limited name brand stuff.
No in store cuts of meat or fresh deli options. Small section of produce.

soon as y'all have a quarter for the carts

When you are worthy, you shall receive.
It's delightful to go in, find what you want, and leave fairly quickly. Their turnover is so great, that fresh vegetables seldom get that aged look. Milk is fresh. Meats are fresh as are eggs.
It's not for someone who shops twice a month. The packages of stuff are (I think) aimed at small families with limited storage space. That also means less spoilage in my refrigerator.
If there's an Aldi's anywhere near by and you shop there, talk to the manager about how much more convenient it would be to have one closer to your home in ______.

Apparently they have a good P/Q for produce and other stuff. They’ll often have some random stuff that is cool including some German brand Deutche Something. Good Schnitzel. Good meat offerings.
It’s a weird niche that works pretty well.

Aldi is freaking terrible. I stopped at the one in Laplace. I think I was the only one in the store

The least Aldi could do is put a store in Bawcomville. They only have a Harvest Foods with the highest food prices around even those listed on their sales circular.
