Having grandkids ups the amount. Gotta get shirt or hat or stuffed animal.

If my wife is with me and she is looking...I'm lucky if we get out of there under $150.

It's usually around $30 for the two of us. 2 sandwiches, a bag of gummy bears, some roasted pecans, and two drinks.

Can’t seem to get out of there for under $50 or so. So nice to shite in a clean place though.

Took my parents to Gulf shores last year, was also their first trip to Buc-ee's. My dad ask the clerk where the fishing section was.

if you're loading up on buc-ees junk food, never pass on the bold-n-sorta-spicy nug-ees.

If you open the bag in the car, they'll never make it home.

$3.79

That's the price of a jalapeno sausage kolache, which is pretty much the only thing I ever buy there.

Since the Tree is already covered, I'd say fifty bucks.

Take him to the one in Surfside TX. The smallest Buc-ees in existence and they actually have a pretty damn extensive fishing section.

I buy the same thing every time.

Two breakfast burritos.
Large fountain drink.
2 energy drinks.

Used to be 18 bucks.

This last time... 18 was for the damned burritos. So I got some cookies. And some chips. And some oyster crackers.

The wife spends 100-150... She literally just gets a single sandwich and then a ton of nicknacknonsense.

The last trip was over 300 if you include fuel.

That is, however, some mighty fine jerky, waaay better than the usual packaged crap.

This is what is terrifying me about the coming Ruston Buc-ee's. I feel it'll become part of my daily routine to drive the 5 minutes for a shite and a chopped beef sandwich.

That sandwich isn't central TX level brisket, but it is without a doubt the best bar-b-q sandwich I have ever had from a gas station/fast food establishment. If one opened in BR, it would be the best brisket in town. Part of what makes the food so good there is the freshness due to a high volume of traffic. Hell, the sausage biscuit is outstanding and better than any drive-thru place.
