Grandparents always seemed to come up with stuff parents didn't. Hmm.....

lime sherbet which is surprisingly hard to find right now.

Ice cream floats.

Pound cake batter.

Basically just stacked grilled cheese sandwiches. Found this recipe but it wasn't that fancy.

My grandmother used to make homemade donuts in a little fryer and then sprinkle them with some kind of lemon power or something. They were fantastic

My grandmothers loved me enough to make me real homemade snacks and desserts. They didn't buy junk food from a store.
