I was blown away…I guess I don’t get out much.

1. There were a few after prom groups there. 60% already had visible tattoos already.

2. We already know about the scooters, but good lord. They charge $50 and those bastards sell out.

3. All you drink soda / coke was disgustingly popular.

4. I felt bad…a diabetic fat lady wobbled through a 40 min line only to not have the lap rest even remotely close. Her boyfriend was 6’2” 115.

5. The clothes the underage girls wear are so much more revealing than should ever be acceptable.

Old man I am

King's Island used to be a great amusement park for those of us from eastern KY and West Virginia who had to rely on Camden Park in Ceredo/Kenova for our thrilling rides and entertainment. But, from what I have heard from my fellow Gen-Xers who still live in the area, times have changed and King's Island is no longer the wonder it used to be. Same can be said of Six Flags near Atlanta. It suffers from every single one of the complaints you had regarding King's Island.

Society is different and it has affected every level of our lives now.

I was at Valley Fair in Minneapolis a couple summers ago and the people watching is part of the show. Humanity has become disgusting.

I saw what was probably a pre-teen girl get removed from one of the roller coasters because she was so fat they couldn't get the restraints over her. Imagine being that young and that obese. She wasn't an outlier either.

Flew back from Europe last year. Milan airport was quiet and peaceful. When we hit Atlanta and it was like an animal house. Wanted to turn around and go back.
America is so trashy now.

Camden Park

Last went in ‘66 or ‘67.

Was there a water park or pool called Dreamland there too?

has worse problems than too many people who enjoy cruises and theme parks

I wouldn’t trade, unless perhaps I was truly wealthy. But still probably not.

And clearly neither would most people. At this point in time.

My kids refuse to go to Six Flags Over Georgia. We went one time and they were legit scared of the crowd.

Literally yesterday I asked one of them if they want to go back this summer, and she said, “No, I don’t want to get shot.”

We could use a 50% reduction in population for starters. Way too many people.
