Boeing needs to sweep all of the Wall Streeters, lawyers and business shysters' out of management and get the company back under engineers and pilots.

‘They Didn’t Want To Hear It’: Boeing Whistleblower Rips Company Executives For Ignoring ‘Absolute Chaos’

quote:

“I started seeing a lot of problems in the factory … in 2018 and we just saw a deterioration in quality and meanwhile, airplanes are being rushed out the door. There’s huge pressure from corporate headquarters to get these planes out the door and employees are tired, fatigued, they’re making mistakes, there’s not enough of them, parts issues, all kinds of issues. It was absolute chaos,” Pierson said. “I tried internally to ring the bell and get the leadership team to take action, but they didn’t want to hear it.”

Sounds less like DEI and more like profits over all else.

How much of this is when unions were fricking with the line?

Execs may have been desperate to get planes complete and out before the next work action.

And SC hasn’t had a single issue. Their problems are squarely in Seattle.

Fortunately they moved their HQ to Virginia, and they’re too big to fail.

Boeing was a great company until the merger in 1997 with McDonnell Douglas. Then it became a shite company. For some reason Boeing (who purchased McDD) took on the corporate atmosphere and tone of McDD. It was all downhill from there.

At one point in time any Boeing employee on the line had the authority to stop production if they saw something wrong. Now, they’d get fired.

Still no reason for QA/QC to miss the problems. Those people are paid to catch this stuff

MBAs are ruing this country. Offshoring manufacturing, labor arbitrage, captured politicians, BODs and executive compensation committees. Zero respect for fellow citizens.

Boeing moved their HQ away from their Seattle plants and completely lost touch with their actual employees who make the company run. Executives don’t see the results of their bad decisions until it’s too late.
