Young stray showed up this morning. I live next to a wildlife rec area and people regularly drop of pets. I usually find them a home but I'm pretty fond of this one.

Spent 4 hours picking ticks off her and giving her a bath. She is skin and bones but seems very attentive and incredibly well behaved. Not showing any signs of aggression even when eating. The wife thinks she has some pit in her. What say the OT?

You’re doing Gods work taking care of the little girl.

Still may murder you in your sleep.

I’m no expert but I’m not seeing any pit.

She will be very loving and loyal because she was probably desperate to find shelter and a family

Looks like a good pup. A Heinz 57, for sure. Maybe has some pit, but looks to have plenty of other stuff to balance it out.

Please keep and protect that dog.

A friend of mine just saved one very similar to that one, and yes, her dog does have some pit and Staffordshire in it, but she is an Incredible dog. Smart and sweet, but VERY energetic.

Yes-it appears to have some pit in it. Do you know when it will snap? Do you know who it will snap on? Do you have kids, grandkids, or even neighborhood kids? Why risk it?

Keep her.

My son picked up a puppy 3-4 months old sitting in the middle of a residential street last week. He is playful but well behaved & very lovable.

He knocked on doors, nobody claimed him. Guess we've added another member to the family.

Looks like a nice pup you have there. They can be the very best. Kind of like they know how things before you were.
