Years ago someone gave me this printout from some website that had all the speed traps in baton rouge. Places where the speed limit changed abruptly or cops liked to hide. Wish I knew where it was

I'm really thinking of tuning up Shreveport's traffic cam situation. There are clear due process violations throughout the system, not to mention some ultra vires acts by the City.

It’s not much different on this side of the pond WRT speed traps. They will have the speed limit turned off and you will be doing 100+ mph in the left lane then it will get switched to say 130 km/hr and bam! You get the yellow lens flash from a damn speed camera.

Listen everyone. If you EVER have to drive through Maurice make extra sure you do 40 mph and not 1mph over or they WILL give you a ticket. City Bar, Heberts Specialty Meats, and speeding tickets is basically how they fund everything there.

As a long time V1 owner (20 + years), the Uniden R7/R8 and Escort Redline 360c have surpassed V1 in terms of complete functionality without having to rely on a bridge to a cell phone.
I personally used the RL 360c and it is the quietest detector I have ever owned, and the range for picking up radar (specifically all bands of Ka band) is incredible.

Have you tried the V1 2nd Gen? It’s a big improvement over the first Gen. the one you are currently using is a hell of a detector. I have never understood why folks don’t buy them and learn how to use them. They have literally saved me thousands, but I typically drive fast.
