Years ago I passed out on beach and woke up to painted nails. Not sure they have been since then.
Not a foot person but will never date a competitive runner again. Not only are their shots horrible, their feet are nasty.

When my daughter was about four, she would be very quiet and paint my toes when I napped. I would just laugh. That's kid stuff. But when I was younger, better not pass out around my friends. One dude woke up and had his finger nails painted bright pink. He was pissed and when he went to the drug store to get nail polish remover, people stared hard at him. He didn't know he had his face with makeup and lipstick on too. Those were fun days.

man, that really hit a nerve with a bunch of you baws, what I was getting at was wasting an entire day sitting anywhere and just looking and drinking ...-well that part's okay, I go out to the beach at sunrise and the wife and I will have a champagne toast, and maybe jump in the water for a bit sometime during the day, but I have to be doing something, to each his own

I usually hit the gym first thing and then breakfast..sometimes work a bit.
For those of us with internal monologue, it is rare I am not sitting there “doing nothing” planning a project, solving a problem, or processing something.
Stopping for a bit often helps me do those things better than being full go all the time.

Begs the question, what is the “best” beach in the South?
Miami Beach is definitely the most iconic.
Destin is likely still the most family friendly.
Is there still a party beach?
My experience with Texas and MS beaches is limited but wasn’t really impressed.
