Girl sees a guy she finds cute at the grocery store, peaks at his name on his credit card, looks up his info on social media, finds out he's single.
She joins book club his mother is in, Ultimately, the mother helps setup a date between her and him.

Red flag? Is stalking a red flag? Is manipulating a guys mom a red flag?

Why is this even a question. If a dude did anything close to this he’d have to register on some list somewhere.

That's taking it a bit far.

And I look up people on FB all the time.

Seems like a good way to end up tied to a post in a basement somewhere.

Women would rather part the red sea than approach a dude

Definitely crazy / red flag, but also kinda hot for a chick to show this level of effort in getting some dick.

If the genders were reversed she'd be in jail.

Also, if she'd just asked him out at the store she'd have saved a lot of wasted time.

Making fake videos for social media likes? Huge red flag, yes.

She did some detective work to find someone she was interested in. I'll allow it.

Looking him up on Facebook isn’t the problem. The side trip through the book club and his mom is the issue. TBH, I have probably done worse—including a stint working a contract gig for Hallmark because I knew the boss had an attractive daughter. Unfortunately, neither mom nor daughter had any interest. However, in a quirk of history or whatever, my son is now chasing a distant cousin in the same family.

One man's red flag is another man's resourceful.
