I don't get it. At least they recognize that large amounts of sugar isn't good for them but they still have the mindset that they have to drink some form of soda no matter how nasty it is. So all of these diet and sugar free sodas are out there but they don't taste nearly as good.

So why not drink a regular soda every blue moon and stick to something much better for you most of the time....water? Instead they'll load up on four twelve packs of Coke Zero or Diet Coke. Seems disgusting

The chemicals in diet soda are worse.

Because if you're not eating sugary/carb-loaded shite, it's nice to have a little sweet treat throughout the day.

Um it’s not nasty, it’s delicious. Cherry Coke Zero is exquisite.

Some people drink them instead of coffee. Maybe they prefer it to be zero calories

If I’ve got cheap bourbon and the Tigers are playing I’m gonna be mixing it with Coke Zero. It tastes pretty close to the OG imo

The only time I get a regular coke is when getting fast food. Fountain regular coke is GOAT.

Have you thought it might not be “nasty” to them?

You aren’t the fricking drink police.

Please go back to Reddit and quit starting shitty threads here.

I drank a lot of them growing up but I can't stand regular soft drinks anymore. It's like a giant sugar bomb. I don't drink many of the diet/zero ones either. Maybe 3 per week.

I heard an interview with a nutrition "expert" that said the sweet taste still triggers an insulin response which actually lowers your blood sugar, making you want to eat more. You should fact check that, but I thought it was interesting.

I don't get regularly drinking anything with calories.

Eat calories, don't drink them. And don't think you're getting away with something because your soft drink can says "0 calories". The crap they have to put in there to give it flavor without calories is just as bad or worse.

The newer studies on all the shite artificial sweeteners suggest that most lead to weight gain even when being zero calorie. They royally frick with your metabolism and internal organs and a few types even alter your brain chemistry that regulates food intake.

I typically drink 1-2 Coke Zero’s a day.

I don’t eat sugar in my day to day diet. It fills me up and satisfies a sweet tooth

Believe it or not, but once you started drinking Diet or Zero drinks for a while, popping open a can of regular Coke is disgusting. Tastes like drinking straight syrup.

I drink water all the time, but when I’m eating I like to have a Diet DP or Coke Zero.

That seems to be a very controversial topic right now, hotly debated by several sides.

That said Dr. Pepper Zero and A&W Zero are gooder than a bitch.

Compared to chemicals along with corn syrup in the regular ones. Highly doubt it. The corn syrup is killer.
