Some Boston honkeys need to get together and come out and say that if the blacks get any money then they get a piece for their ancestors who died in the Civil War. The melt would be glorious.

That's not what I said, and you're being obtuse. But remember how many seniors don't get meals, because of the money being dumped on illegals through the Catholic donation web.

You don't have to work for an audit firm to realize how much the church (just the Vatican, in this case, (not including worldwide archdiocese, etc.) obfuscates

Oh, that's totally different. Are organizations that give permission generally not reviewing mission statements, financial records, compliance, etc? If you don't agree with what they're doing, your due diligence should lead to non-approval.

But you do you.

The churches named in the latter were King's Chapel, Arlington Street Church, Trinity Church, and Old South Church.

It would be interesting to see these "churches" response considering they are all very woke, based on a quick review of their websites. What begins as virtue signaling will always end in wokes devouring each other.
Small note of interest, the bio for the "reverand" of Trinity Church, Morgan Allen, says he is a native Louisiananian, and formerly at a church called St Barnabas in Lafayette. Kings Chapel has big BLM and LGBTQRSTUV flags flying outside.

The Catholic Church is the #1 charitable organization in the world

link?

the Vatican
this is a whole different animal than any Catholic Church or Diocese

most catholic organizations’ mission statements is to be like Jesus

What does the church helping people have to do with reparations?

It may be a "nothing burger" today, but in a decade it will be the "meat and potatoes" of a series of (in)voluntary payments to certain segments of society...

Look at other cultural "nothing burgers" that have appeared recently....

Would it only be the white people paying reparations?

And do they just want mounds of cash?

If they pay out all that money to the black communities, there would literally be zero Black people working in Boston. Like most people who come across millions in an instant….they’d quit their jobs. Which probably isn’t a far cry from what’s going on today.

More importantly….What do they think the ghetto hoodlum gang bangers are going to do with all of that cash? Turn their lives around?

Not to people that necessarily need it, but people that agree with the new mission of the Church. Single moms don't need it, unless they're Latina, etc.

quote:

seniors don't get meals

They advertise services openly. Again, the finances of Catholic 501c3s are not transparent, but dump millions on resources for illegals, that money expressly cannot be spent on old farts in the suburbs of Chicago.

the Vatican
this is a whole different animal than any Catholic Church

LOL. I'm not even Christian, and I know that statement is inaccurate.

quote:

People have to generate more documentation for divorce.
irrelevant

Nah, paying a couple of hundred or thousand in a divorce a month, versus controlling the spending of billions, totally provide less documentation. It's irrelevant, right? Document, document, document. If Joel Osteen tells me he spends 80% of his fortune on fixing cleft palates in central America, cool. I want to see proof.

quote:

What does the church helping people have to do with reparations?

Does the war on poverty that's been going on for 60 years count for anything? We've destroyed black families that way. How about the left (Boston, etc.) pay for that, and leave us out of it? Y'all passed that garbage with LBJ, as usual without regards to downstream impacts. Why is that my problem?

Glad you signal you've given up. The original question was not where the discussion went. If you want to start a discussion on Poli, re: what the Catholic church promotes, I'll be glad to join, but it doesn't belong here, any further than where we've gone.

And Asia, and the Middle East. You're free to go, but I have your passport and you owe me money. Arabs continue to enslave people in Europe, too, at least.

That’s the other thing. They’ll leave their jobs, still have kids, the kids will see “oh mom and dad got money for nothing, I should get some too” and when the money runs out, you got a kid who doesn’t know how to work and he’ll be back to blaming whitey again.

They want a free ride at the expense of fricking over black America more than their perpetual victim mentality and Democrats already have.

I’m not even being a right winger saying that. It’s just common sense. You give them enough to not work, the money will run out. I’m sure Fentanyl Floyd would’ve opened up an E*Trade account and put his reparations money into ETFs. Gimme a break.

With all of your answers - I realize you don’t know what you’re talking about.

quote:

but people that agree with the new mission of the Church. Singl
not true - many ppl the Catholic Church helps aren’t even Catholic

quote:

dump millions on resources for illegals, that money expressly cannot be spent on old farts in the suburbs of Chicago.
again - I need a link bc I think this statement is just not true

quote:

not even Christian, and I know that statement is inaccurate.
the Vatican is a whole different animal than a parish church - again you don’t know what you’re talking about - obviously

quote:

I want to see proof.
why! You’re not even Christian, so it’s not your money - my parish church provides detailed reports on how money is spent (different from the Vatican plus we don’t have billions)

quote:

We've destroyed black families that way.
this was the us government, not the Catholic Church

quote:

If you want to start a discussion on Poli, re: what the Catholic church promotes
religion shouldn’t be political

What about all the indentured servants what worked for 5-7 years for room and board to "learn a trade?" Ironic.
