The world is in turmoil.Riots everywhere, law fare being used to keep the playing field equal in elections, baws can't afford crawfish and are quitting dipping left and right. In midst of all this chaos life on da bayou goes on.........

I love convenient stores. Sadly, all I have out where I am is Tureaus (now Gill’s) and they’re high as giraffe pussy and half their shite is expired. I could use a more convenient store around here.

It's sad that we used to laugh at this stuff and now it is what will shelter us from the blue hair mob

What's wrong with this? Dude will probably fix your transmission for much cheaper than a car dealership or other mechanics. If you pay cash it will probably be even cheaper.

Couple cases of Natural Light would probably get it done.

A horse that staves, obviously.
TBH I feel for this one. We had a horse growing up. It ended up being the 2nd oldest horse in ascension parish. Now near the end she was gaunt, but well fed, well taken care of, teeth filed, regularly seen by vet. Just...old. Nearly 40 I think. Horses typically live 25-30 years.
Well some of these new people moved in to Prairieville, thought they knew shite. Saw the horse and just assumed it was starving. Called the ASPCA, all that bullshite. They came out and of course found that the horse was in good health, especially for her age.
Found out who reported it. It was the wife of a coach/teacher at dutchtown. My brother (rest his soul) confronted the coach, as a student, and told him to tell his stupid wife to mind her own damn business and stop meddling when she didn't know shite.
Man I miss him.
So, I get the sign and it's probably a similar situation.

Nope. And the second pic says Sweet Lake which is by Lake Charles.

Second pic. Words to live by. You can’t go wrong.

I love the sign. The lack of punctuation and how they realized halfway through there wouldn't be enough room, so started writing smaller

Not really. Traditionally, "down the bye" is a reference to Bayou Lafourche. And to be "down", that's at least Raceland. But, maybe somewhere between the fire department and GoBears might be the line. Definitely not Thibodaux. Thibodaux might as well be in Ohio.
SW Louisiana (the Contraband folks) are different sorts of Cajuns (looking at you Youngsville).
