Plain old 2017 Armada and the damned starter is $400 without markup. Thanks Joe.

Oh and thanks Nissan for putting the damn thing buried in the middle of the motor necessitating the removal of half of it to get to the starter. WTH.

And since when does a starter last only 7 years.

Remember when things were looking good and humming along and then suddenly you looked up and America was too expensive to live in?

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

That's the way of the world today.... make things so difficult to deal with that you have to take it in.

After a decade of huge printing to artificially inflate assets to prop them up after what should have been a deflationary event (the 2009 crash and Great Recession), THEN printing 3-4T in short order for Covid spending, you're going to feel some inflation.

Lol at the non-BMW owners complaining…At a good indy you’d have changed your engine mounts and water pump too…and probably some other shite. “While we’re in there…”

Probably engine heat shortens the life. For some reason some manufacturers put the starter on top of the block. I remember the Northstar V8s having the starter under the intake manifold. A time-consuming exercise to swap a common low cost part.

The first time we heard the term “ too big to fail” might have been a tip off. Imagine that. Too big to fail. Let’s see how that theory tests out over time.

How else are you going to take the OT's advice and avoid college, go into the trades and make that "good money" if everyone can repair their possessions?

That sux man. Something I learned young about a getting a starter to last a little longer, is to knock it some with a metal hammer. Apparently knocks the build up loose. At least works with older cars, but would think 2017 would have worked too.

$257 at Advance Auto.....$92.95 on Amazon.

Was Biden in office when Nissan designed the 2017 Armada?

Does AutoZone not have an option to return the old one for credit so they can rebuild and sell it?
