Lauren Dressback out as principal at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights following controversial board vote
She had been secondary teacher of the year
Her contract was just extended for a year
Here is the rumor - she realized that she is homosexual after many years, a marriage and even a kid
Husband supports her & is in good terms
She showed a picture of her new girlfriend kissing her to a co-worker & word got out
She was put on administrative leave for 2 months and then transferred to be the principal of Vestavia’s alternative school - a virtual school for problem students
She has contacted an attorney & plans to sue
Vestavia Hills School Board is fixin to be in the national news…

She was transferred not terminated and I’m going to bet the board had every right to do so, else they wouldn’t have.

Someone doesn't have experience with overzealous school boards. Some of the slimiest shite I've ever witnessed came from school administrators and school boards.
ETA: I know two people currently in Alabama schools who could hold a goat sacrifice to Satan on the roof of a school and they'd still have their jobs. They pretty much can't be fired because the board fricked up so badly.
