Going soon. Is there generally a good crowd, or is it pretty sporadic depending on time of day, etc.? Just trying to get a feel.

Not to hijack but I have a l'Auberge question also.

I have a friend who wants me to go with him to try craps live. He's learned the game a little on computer sims. I usually go at night and the mins are always $15. I'd like to take him when and if they are lower. Do they usually have lower minimums during the day?

I've played craps on Friday afternoons before and the tables are usually $10. Never seen them lower than that.

Never seen it under 10. You could play the machine. It is a big set of dice in the middle with 8 betting seats around it . Min is usually 3-5

There's an app called Bravo poker that will tell you what games are currently being played and the min buy in. Or you can just call before you go.

You sure? I seem to remember just recently they had one table open late on a Thursday night and the mins were $5. Could've been $10 though. Not sure though, sometimes I have trouble remembering the details of those adventures.

Fridays are the best poker days traditionaly. There are 1/3 and 2/5 holdem games, but lately the PLO game has been OOC. If you have the roll play that.

I've never seen $5 craps. It's mostly $10 on weekdays then $15 at night.

The poker is good but it's no easy money. They have a lot of tight players.

That is the closest casino to me (I am about 3 miles from the Plaquemine ferry, once I cross the ferry its about 6 miles away.. The first time I ever been there there was a list of people waiting to play so we didn't get to play. I been there several other times after and it was always filled, but it was usually at night on a weekend. I have a few friends who go play during the day, on their off days and they say its usually not full, but its not close to being empty..

Personally, my favorite place to play poker in Louisiana is Harrah's in New Orleans.
