For us

Anyone who wants that level of bloodshed and chaos is an idiot who can’t think two steps ahead.

Proofs that progressives are evil.

We're talking 3 times the supposed number of holocaust victims and you muster up a snarky casual "for who?" as if it's no big deal.

Leftist filth.

You're supporting the side that relishes bloodshed and causes it.

This is the ninth war Russia has started since 1991.

Oh kiss my arse Ivan

You're really going to pretend Putin and Russia place any value on human life?

Either delusional or purposefully completely full of shite!

Actually the later, since you wished your German ancestors had prevailed in WW!!.

I want the neocons run out of Washington on a rail. They are the enemy.

Insofar as that’s true, I don’t want their agenda to succeed. They’re Trotskyites, and their doctrine of perpetual war serves no core American interest, to the contrary, its incredibly expensive, trillions of dollars have been spent, and it has damaged our prosperity and made us all poorer.

Russia isn’t going anywhere, it’s going to have a sphere of influence, and trying to pick countries out of their orbit is stupid.

They lost power in Stalin’s purges, and Stalin famously had Trotsky killed. Its that history that created the neocons and drove them from the left to the right.

Intellectually, you’re looking at a movement that goes back to Marx and the Bolshevik revolution.

You are all infinitely better off in this country than you probably would be anywhere else in the world.

People are willing to walk for months on foot just in the hopes of being allowed to come here and be given a chance to become citizens.

I'm no jingoistic cheerleader, I opposed the invasion of Afghanistan (they weren't directly responsible for 9/11 and we inadvertently killed a lot of civilians in the name of fighting a group whose members who lived through us bombing their mountain camps fled before we got there...)

Iraq should've never happened and should've been the end of the Bush/Cheney administration, but the "Freedom Fries" mindset prevailed... and all we got for that is a more powerful Iran that can now stir shite up all over the region.

But still, I get more than a little tired of hearing everybody complain about this country, from the left and the right. It's far from perfect, but it is the best thing going for someone randomly born into it on the planet.

And best thing is we can get rid of leaders every 2 to 4 years if they suck... we don't necessarily seem smart enough to do that enough, but just the opportunity in itself is a gem.

And in doing so they are lessening what is great about our country in quite a rapid fashion.

Our collective IQ will crash. Our median incomes will crash. The quality of healthcare will crash. Social Security will crash.

Less important to most (but important to me) is that our height and expected age will crash. Our attractiveness and European heritage will be erased. Latin Americans are not as attractive as European Americans. They are 5-6 inches shorter on average, they are almost exclusively Endomorphs (Endomorphs are characterized by a pear-shaped body type with a wide frame, high body fat percentage, and shorter stature. They often have large bones, a wide waist and hips, and weight in their lower abdomen, thighs, and hips. Endomorphs tend to have a slower metabolism, and can easily gain muscle mass. However, they can also have difficulty with weight loss).

Those terms are meaningless, really, at this point. The "Neo-Cons" of the Bush/Cheney administration did not consider themselves Neo-Cons, that's just the term the opposition (Leftists) tagged on them... even if some of the foreign policy ques they took originated from some of the ultra pro-Israel Leftists who gained sway in those circles in the 70s.

And Putin is simply an Authoritarian leading an increasingly Totalitarian state. Same as Xi. Same as Kim.

Orwell's point in "1984," which was imagining a "Stalin of the UK" was that it doesn't matter in which direction you arrive at Totalitarianism, the result is the same. The country on this planet that most resembles what's depicted in that book is North Korea. North Korea is in a permanent state of war as far as its citizens are told... Kim is waging a war to keep the "impure West" from invading and raping every racially pure Korean man, woman and child. We hate them for their racial purity, which we want to corrupt. All must be given to the fight, and people must realize that going hungry and living in the dark after sunset is necessary for the fight. Did you know that you weren't supposed to know if Oceana was actually at war in "1984?" The war happens in far-off neutral areas, which is why Airstrip One (England) exists right across the channel from Eurasia but is never directly attacked. The main character works rewriting history books and news articles to reflect the new things the government wants them to say, right? No one is allowed to leave the Island, communication is very limited. How does anyone know if any of it is really or not. When Trump set foot in North Korea, the internal news was written to say that, "being rightfully terrified of powerful Dear Leader, American President Trump tries to pacify him by meeting with him." That is why North Korea does things to provoke some reaction whenever the West and South Korea ignore them, because internally they need those reactions and threats to report back and keep the population convinced the battle is still important while the go to bed in darkened cities with hungry stomachs.

No advanced / mature capitalistic society can absorb this many unskilled workers (especially when they skew 80% male).

Define "unskilled?" Farm work? Blue-collar jobs like construction? Low-level factory work?

Schroedinger's Migrants, simultaneously stealing jobs from Americans and also too lazy and unskilled to do anything.

Their IQ will rise simply by virtue of being here... IQ directly correlates to household income, strangely enough... it's not so much a measure of "intelligence" as it is a reflection of what whoever makes the tests values in thinking ability. The entire world gets 10 IQ points smarter every decade (The Flynn Effect) and the median (100) rises to reflect that, meaning the first citizens of America were too dumb - comparatively - to remember to breath and swallow, right? No... that means little.

Also, as rural areas and small towns dry up as far as young people who don't want to be farm hands for little money, immigrants are their saving grace.

But none of that is the point.

"Who I like isn't in charge at the moment" does not equal "This country irredeemably sucks and should perish." frick that! It's like everybody is on crazy pills.
