It will likely be next to the St. George Fire Department training facility on Airline next to Kleinpeter

So is it still not a 100% certainty? When is it truly done and final?

Lapse of the 14 day period to request rehearing without a filing.

Or, the day the denial of the rehearing request is issue.

Ted’s backers are a who’s who of Republicans and business leaders. He’s a young, clean cut BR guy. Southern Law school
Grad who cares about our city and parish. He knows we are one election away from being New Orleans or Jackson, MS.

Support him. Our best chance.

We are one bad LSU administration from being Jackson, TBH.

If Jackson had Moo U or Ole Piss instead of Jackson State, it would still have money even with the idiots in charge.

I’d put city hall in Perkins Rowe, making that area effectively “downtown” St. George.

The EBRSO provides law enforcement for the entire parish including the City of Baton Rouge. Historically they have focused their patrols and enforcement in unincorporated areas that have no other law enforcement available to them, this includes the area that is now the City of St. George. They will continue to provide the same level of service to the new City unless 1. Additional funding is provided by the City to increase the current staffing level, 2. The City determines they would benefit from a stand alone police department and provides specific funding for such.

If I have to choose between SWB or Ted...it will certainly be Ted. Dude really cares about BR and he's not an idiot.

Do they? If I have a burglary in BR can I file a report with EBRSO instead of BRPD?

I understand that they have jurisdiction in the entire parish but that’s not necessarily the same thing as actually “providing law enforcement,” as you put it.

I’ve met Ted a number of times in dealings with the legislature, and can confirm, he is a MUCH better choice than Broomstick. And I don’t get the feeling that he would fill
His administration solely on the basis of skin color like she has.

Well, that’s completely wrong. Village St. George is an actual area. It’s Siegen at Ward’s creek all the way down to Highland. And then it’s from Siegen and Ward’s Creek all the way over to Picou.

St George Church is diagonal and across Ward’s Creek from Village St. George.
