Legalize recreational marijuana
Make the required licenses for growing and selling recreational marijuana reasonable to obtain for Louisiana residents
A discount on all items scanned in a self-checkout by the customer

1. No SNAP benefits at the grocery store.
Go back to government cheese. Set up satellite stores like the BR food bank all over the state. Nobody will ever get off of food stamps if they get to shop at Whole Foods with other people's money.
2. Proof of insurance sticker on car
Just like an inspection sticker/break tag, companies must provide stickers that can be easily scanned. OR... If you don't carry insurance, you can't sue anyone in an accident.

Allow state budgets to be cut unequivocally, not just education and healthcare.
Eliminate all constitutional amendments that should have been laws and force the legislature to do their fricking job
Cut all welfare and benefits programs to single mothers and rather provide them to low income married couples moving forward. This is not retroactive. The lack of fathers present in the lower economic classes is hurting this state and country more than anything else.

I’ve been saying this forever. It should be a government store with all the staples and generic food. You would cut down on fraud and could keep an accurate account of what the money is being spent on.
But your Rouses and Walmarts would never go for it and would fight with everything they have.

All these stores have more registers that are not used ever. They law should be you’re required to have 1-2 registers that only accept snap and the rest do not.
It doesn’t piss off the stores and still brings the distinction back.

1-Cap insurance premiums on vehicles and houses to an affordable price for everyone.

No fault traffic accidents. Your insurance pays for your car. my insurance pays for mine. Don’t have insurance. Oh well that’s your fault.
lagniappe: Louisiana doesn’t have to chose the lowest bid for construction especially roads. Put in a bonus structure if the contractor finishes the job before a certain deadline.

These are great ideas. And the take a test to vote from above are great ideas.

This. And the vehicle needs to be towed to the impound lot if in a wreck or stopped for speeding if you don't have insurance or legit plates.

1. Eliminate EBT/food stamps. Basic and essential food only, can even be delivered weekly from walmarts or other groceries who deliver (no need for massive cost of state food banks). No junk food, prepared food or soda type drinks.

Same as I'd want federally and in every other state:
1. Federal Crime for any politician to have net worth grow at a greater rate than US or State GDP during time in office. Excess gains to be due to the Treasury + incarceration time
2. Marijuana 100% recreationally and commercially legal with mandatory 15% sales tax.
3. Every department of government must (1) publish entirely transparent financials on a quarterly basis and (2) pass an independent financial audit every year or have the following year's budget reduced by 20%
