Crazy arse morning to say the least. Door locked from now on.

I live in a safe neighborhood just outside of the city but I lock my doors, have an alarm, and cameras.

WTF are you doing?

ambien? sleepwalking? with all the diet pills/injections sleepwalking side effect?

was she able to say where she lived?

It could have been Ambien. I did not consider that at the time. She was in a night gown and hadn't gone far. She talked about her grandkids and "James". I just didn't want her to get hurt and she was wandering around.

Calling the cops if my last option, but I didn't know what to do.

What does this have to do with locking your doors from the inside?

Several weeks ago I had a guy in just boxer briefs at 3am trying to get onto my front porch but I had the dog gate up. He didn’t know how to open it. I didn’t know anything until I saw it on security cameras. Cops had came and he talked to them for a bit and they took him away.

Friend of mine got hurt doing this.

About a dozen years ago, we had a going away party at a friends house for one of her colleagues who was moving with her husband. There was a bar within walking distance of the house so a couple of the guys walked down there at midnight when the party wound down. Well, they were already hammered when they left. I mean really hammered.

They drank more at Fenians, then walked back. This was like 2 AM. They are falling down drunk. Her house was on a corner, well, the house on the next corner facing the same direction was similar in color and both were two story homes with massive front porches.

One of them thought that house was her house and he couldn't get in as the door was locked. Started knocking on the door, then knocks turned to bangs. Said let me in, I'm not going to hurt you. Finally kicked the door in.

The resident had no gun, thank goodness, put had one of those tools you use to fool with water meters. Hit him in the head with it pretty hard. He wound up in the ICU for a couple of days but he recovered .

Did she used to live in the house? That happened to my neighbors once. Old lady who had lived at the house over a decade before had a senior moment

Sort of that ... Back in 90s I had a guy show up drunk knocking on my door wanting to speak to the person he thought lived there which was 15 years before me. The drunk become a PGA golfer and returned to his old childhood subdivision and wanted to visit everyone from his childhood. Only a couple people still lived in subdv. I recognized his family name but he was sloppy drunk. Called one of his friends he mentioned by name, who was a cop now and he came get him and took care of him, got him sobered and brought him to some family members house. It was weird when he stepped right into my house after knocking on the door. OT rating...<.01/10 and no pics. No cell phones.

Update:

Went for a walk around the neighborhood and spoke to a few people that were out in their yards. No one knew a James.

Went back inside my house and sat on the couch and noticed a cellphone under my coffee table. Old Iphone that had no charge. So I called the local PD.

"Hey, that woman you took to the hospital last night. Found her cellphone under my coffee table. Want to send a patrolman to come pick it up?"

"Sure."

Sit on the stoop for 10 minutes or so and see two patrol cars come in. I wave them down and start walking towards the cars.

This little sawed off motherfricker with that faggy arse two inch slick back (shaved on the side) and his Oakleys jumps out like I've just robbed a bank.

Hold my hands up and say, "hey I called you to give you this phone..."

He gets about two feet from me and says, "Well, hey, we don't know what you had to do with last night. Why do you have her phone?"

I have never wanted to punch someone so much in my life. I tried to help someone. Not involve the police. I went out of my way to be a good damn person, and this little shite is accusing me of rape at worst and sexual assualt at best.

Luckily, the older cop told him to shut up and back off.

We talked for a bit. They found her "husband" in West Blocton and he was picking her up.

But goddamn. Why do young cops feel the need to escalate shite? I was being a damn good citizen.

I bet if you had shined one of those UV lights on her, like the detectives have on TV, it would be an eye opener.

The fact you were carrying groceries and didn’t lock the door tells me you’re single. You should’ve fingered her with your penis.
