Listening to the recent Rogan podcast with Randall Carlson discussing asteroid impacts, dating, etc

Do you believe 6,000-10,000 years?

You pretty much have to be a moron to believe the earth is 6,000 years old

4.5 billion years

it's not a matter of belief

We know for a fact that the earth is around that age because that is how old the space rock that was from same disc of material from which earth formed

Just for clarity, Carlson in no way shape or form believes the earth is 6-10k as poorly worded in the OP.

4.5 billion years give or take, and as was said above, that is fact based on science. Not “the science,” of course, but real science. Like physics and shite like that.

Fun fact the sun has about 5 billion years of usable fuel left, but you don’t have to worry about that bc it will expand well into earths orbit before then and suck the earth into a death spiral towards the center of the sun where it will be vaporized. So, at least we have that going for us.
