At least $5. You have to realize those people don’t make shite for money.

If you can’t afford to tip 20% or more you shouldn’t be ordering takeout.

For takeout they should tip YOU

It’s ALWAYS zero when I have to drive and go inside to get my food

Anything else is straight-up ignorant

Have a relative that does takeout at Walk Ons. They make min wage. Even with fast food places making 10-14 an hour. The waitresses make 2-3 an hour but can make a few hundred on tips on weekends.

That being said, I don’t treat it like a sit down meal. I usually do 3-5 bucks.

At MOST a few bucks and only if the host/hostess is a pleasant, well-groomed individual.

I have a lot of disposable cash and can afford to tip a person extremely well but frick all this nickel and dime bullshite. If they want to make more money, then find a real career. It's not my responsibility to subsidize someone's low skill wages because of their employment choices.

Takeout where I go inside to pick it up? Nothing… who am I tipping in this instance?

Takeout where I park and someone brings it out? A few bucks.

If the best job you can get is delivering food, not my problem.

So you must be tipping fast food employees too since they make less.

We don't use any delivery services. We go pick it up ourselves.
